Video – A Just and Practical Solution for the Unrecognized Bedouin Villages in the Negev

Since the Knesset’s winter session began, the Internal Affairs and Environment Committee has been discussing “The Bill for the Regulation of Bedouin Settlement in the Negev” – also known as the Begin-Prawer Plan.

If this piece of legislation, which passed its first full reading on the Knesset floor by a narrow margin, becomes a law – it will constitute a severe violation of the rights of the Negev Bedouin, and it will be a dark day for human rights in Israel.

This video, prepared together with Bimkom – Planners for Planning Rights, examines this pressing issue and suggests a reasonable alternative.

This is a crucial time for our struggle against the bill – it’s time to spread the word and let your friends know the truth about what could await the unrecognized Bedouin villages in the Negev.
