Rights of Workers

The right to work and to decent working conditions is one of the most basic human rights, and is recognized in a number of international treaties. In recent years a worrying trend of infringement of the rights of workers and of those seeking work has intensified; as a result, many people in Israel, especially those belonging to the weakest sectors of society, are unable to exercise their right to work in dignity. ACRI has prioritized the area of workers’ rights and the rights of those seeking work, and seeks to place this issue high on the public agenda.
