Senior Development Associate

(Full-time position)

 

ACRI is currently seeking a full time Senior Development Associate to join the International Relations and Development Department.

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

Under the supervision of the Director of International Relations, the Senior Development Associate will be responsible for grant-writing, reporting to institutional donors and managing the entire system of deadlines and documentation of ACRI’s relationships with donors abroad. The daily life of the position will be mainly English writing with some specific non-writing tasks.

 

The successful candidate will have a flair for writing, excellent organizational skills, an eye for detail, and proven experience managing relationships with large institutional donors.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Grant-writing
  • Reporting to donors
  • Developing and maintaining online and offline systems for grant-management (including calendars for deadlines, filing of documents, streamlining information, etc.)
  • Building budgets for projects
  • Participating in additional International Relations team efforts
  • Ongoing interaction with donors and supporters

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

 

  • A solid commitment to human rights and identification with ACRI’s mission and values.
  • Excellent English writing and editing skills (please DO NOT apply if this is a question for you).
  • High-level to fluent Hebrew reading and speaking skills (please DO NOT apply if you do not read Hebrew but are hoping to learn).
  • At least three years of demonstrated writing and / or fundraising experience, including writing grant proposals in English for major institutional donors.
  • Capacity to work independently and to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
