Senior Development Associate
(Full-time Position)
Based in Tel Aviv

The Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) is Israel’s leading human rights organization and the only one that addresses the entire spectrum of human rights and civil liberties issues in Israel and the Occupied Territories.

ACRI is currently seeking a full time Senior Development Associate in the International Relations and Development Department.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Director of International Relations, the Senior Development Associate will be responsible for grant-writing, reporting to institutional donors and managing the entire system of deadlines and documentation of ACRI’s relationships with donors abroad. The daily life of the position will be mainly English writing with some specific non-writing tasks.

Location: Tel Aviv

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grant-writing
  • Reporting to donors
  • Developing and maintaining online and offline systems for grant-management (including calendars for deadlines, filing of documents, streamlining information, etc.)
  • Strategic building of budgets for fundraising
  • Participating in International Relations team efforts
  • Managing interns
  • Ongoing interaction with donors and supporters

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

  • A solid commitment to human rights and identification with ACRI’s mission and values.
  • Bachelor’s degree. (Master’s degree welcome)
  • Perfect English-language writing and editing skills (Please DO NOT apply if this is a question for you).
  • High-level to Fluent Hebrew reading and speaking skills (Please DO NOT apply if you do not read Hebrew but are hoping to learn).
  • At least three years of demonstrated writing and/or fundraising experience (Please apply only if you have experience writing grant proposals in English for institutional donors).
  • Capacity to work independently and to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
