{"id":765,"date":"2009-10-29T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2009-10-28T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"765"},"modified":"2011-02-14T21:04:30","modified_gmt":"2011-02-14T19:04:30","slug":"ending-discrimination-in-housing-projects-in-tel-aviv-jaffa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/law.acri.org.il\/en\/2009\/10\/29\/ending-discrimination-in-housing-projects-in-tel-aviv-jaffa\/","title":{"rendered":"Ending Discrimination in Housing Projects in Tel Aviv, Jaffa"},"content":{"rendered":"<div lcass='pre'><\/div>\n<p>In October 2009, following an ACRI petition and as a result of pressure from the courts, the Tel Aviv Municipality backed down from its previous stance and agreed to modify the conditions of a tender for apartment units in the heart of Tel Aviv, which were being marketed to high-tech and finance workers exclusively. According to the Court&#8217;s orders, the winning developer will be obligated to market the housing units to the general public.
