Members of Knesset demand to prosecute a school principal who dared to discuss the Occupation with his students. The Interior Minister accuses organizations assisting migrant workers of \u201csabotaging the Zionist Enterprise.\u201d The president of the New Israel Fund is condemned on the streets. And we still haven\u2019t said anything about futile arrests, the Nakba law, or other initiatives seeking to label human rights activists in Israel as “traitors”. <\/p>\n

Attacks on democracy in Israel are gaining momentum. The blows undermining the foundations of democracy are becoming more and more personal. Between the personal and the political, the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) invites you to an evening of personal-political stories from Israel’s democracy \u2013 2010 version, its deteriorating state and initiatives to change the troubling reality before it\u2019s too late. <\/p>\n
