{"id":4079,"date":"2012-02-27T12:33:39","date_gmt":"2012-02-27T10:33:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/law.acri.org.il\/en\/?p=4079"},"modified":"2012-04-03T11:25:53","modified_gmt":"2012-04-03T09:25:53","slug":"acri-receives-award-from-the-israeli-employment-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/law.acri.org.il\/en\/2012\/02\/27\/acri-receives-award-from-the-israeli-employment-service\/","title":{"rendered":"ACRI Receives Award from the Israeli Employment Service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a small and moving ceremony this morning (27 February 2012), Mr. Yossi Farchi \u2013 the retiring Head of the Israeli Employment Service \u2013 gave the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) the 2012 certificate of appreciation on behalf of the Employment Service.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe certificate was awarded to ACRI &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/law.acri.org.il\/en\/category\/social-and-economic-rights\/labor-rights\/\">for providing unwavering support<\/a> to employment seekers in Israel and for aiding the Employment Service in realizing this goal throughout the years.&#8221; Mr. Farchi mentioned the struggle against the Wisconsin Plan and noted <a href=\"https:\/\/law.acri.org.il\/en\/2009\/04\/28\/human-rights-groups-to-finance-minister-dont-expand-wisconsin-plan\/\">the important role that human rights organizations<\/a> &#8211; such as ACRI, Rabbis for Human Rights, Commitment for Peace and Social Justice, and the Mizrahi Democratic Rainbow &#8211; had in ending this program.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nIn the photo below: ACRI Executive Director, Hagai El-Ad, and Director of the Social and Economic Rights Department, attorney Tali Nir, receive the award from the Head of the Israeli Employment Service, Mr. Yossi Farchi (seated in the center).<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<div style=\"width: 535px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  \" src=\"https:\/\/law.acri.org.il\/he\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/taasuka4small.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"392\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hagai El-Ad, Yossi Farchi, and attorney Tali Nir.
