Raghad Jaraisy

Attorney Raghad Jaraisy became Director of the Arab Minority Rights Unit in November 2015.  Ms. Jaraisy joined ACRI as an attorney in 2010, focusing for several years on rights violations by the Israeli authorities in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, and in particular on the rights of Palestinians in the occupied territories to demonstrate, and the rights of Palestinian minors in military courts.  In March 2015, she joined the Arab Minority Rights Unit, and has since worked particularly on promoting equality in housing and equal access to education and public services for Israel’s Arab citizens.  Before joining ACRI, Ms. Jaraisy completed her legal internship at the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office in the Tel Aviv District.  She holds an L.L.B and a B.A in Cognitive Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a Masters in Public Law (LL.M) with distinction from Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University.
