Rachel Benziman

Executive Director

Attorney Rachel Benziman has served as the Executive Director of ACRI since April 2003. Prior to holding this position, Ms. Benziman served as the Director of ACRI’s Legal Department for two years. Before joining ACRI, Ms. Benziman directed the Hebrew University Minerva Center’s project on the development of an Israel Human Rights Commission, and spent the earlier part of her career as the General Counsel and Legal Department Director at the Israel Women’s Network. Ms. Benziman received the prestigious Wexner Fellowship, and holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Ms. Benziman has dedicated the majority of her career to the field of human rights and civil liberties, and her professional experience and skills have made her a prominent figure in Israeli civil society.
