The demolition of a house in the Tzur Baher neighborhood of East Jerusalem, because the Municipality deemed it illegal, January 2007.
Palestinian residents of East Jerusalem face a perpetual Catch-22 because it is virtually impossible for them to obtain building permits from the authorities,
and the houses that they do build are often demolished because they are considered illegal.
